Dropshipping is dead

(this is what they want you to believe)

Dropshippers are some of the smartest motherfuckers I know.

The living definition of move fast and break shit.

They have new brand launches down to a science.

Step 1. Find a trending product with 20-30% margins.

Step 2. Film 15+ creatives on their iPhone.

Step 3. Launch Meta, TikTok, and paid search campaigns.

Step 4. Print cash.

That’s it.

No agencies. No 10+ person teams to manage. No shareholders. No 12+ month lead times for product development.

One operator plus two VAs = cashflow.

But one thing they universally seem to miss is SEO.

They launch & scale brands for 6 months, then burn out once the product is no longer trending.

So they launch another brand, and do it all over again.

This puts them in a constant feast or famine cycle.

Either find new products and build brands.

Or die.

But a few months ago, a serial dropshipper DM’d me on Twitter.

He saw an opportunity to break out of the feast or famine cycle with his latest brand.

With our agency, we scaled his SEO revenue from $3k/month to $215k/month in just 63 days.

His total revenue that same month was $2.5 million.

He’d had multiple 7-figure months before.

But this was his fastest one.

It was a gnarly case study — I chalked it up as an anomaly.

But then it happened again.

Another dropshipper reached out to me.

And while we didn’t work together as a brand + agency, I did consult for him.

I built him a 6-month strategy and gave him all of the tools, templates, and SOPs to execute on it.

In 2 weeks, he was on page 1.

The next week, he entered the top 3.

The next week, the #1 spot.

His dropshipping brand, that had previously been written off as an illegitimate eCommerce brand.

“Just a reseller.”

It went from being completely invisible.

To the #1 spot on Google.

Front and center.

The brand was immediately deemed legitimate.

He found himself among the ranks of Wayfair, REI, and Walmart.

And not just among them, but AHEAD of them.

So I got to thinking.

One was a coincidence. Two isn’t.

So I built a dropshipping SEO playbook.

Here it is, in all its glory.

Give it a watch and go make some money.
