I found a new blue ocean

Call me Magellan

“The market is saturated.”

Bullshit.

First off, if you tell yourself this lie then you are destined to fail before you even begin.

More money is added to the US economy every single day.

Most of that money is added into already existing, stable markets.

Why?

One very simple reason.

They are proven to work.

In the context of SEO, I’m not saying that you should go compete in the most saturated niches: travel, healthcare, gambling, weight loss...

Not at all.

What I am telling you is that you will face competition, no matter what niche you pick.

There are very few blue oceans out there.

Definition: “Blue Ocean Strategy is the simultaneous pursuit of differentiation and low cost to open up a new market space and create new demand. It is about creating and capturing uncontested market space, thereby making the competition irrelevant” (Blue Ocean Strategy by Renée Mauborgne and W. Chan Kim, 2004).

Basically, a blue ocean is a wide open field of opportunities.

You’re the only one there, and you should be sailing full speed ahead.

I am fortunate enough to find myself in a blue ocean at this very moment.

The water is crystal clear, the waves aren’t too rough.

It’s beautiful.

This particular blue ocean is in the alternative medicine space.

I’ve taken this alternative medicine brand from 5 clicks/day to 41 clicks/day in just about a month.

They launched their site just about 60 days ago.

Clearly our SEO strategy is working.

Full. Speed. Ahead.

We’ve let out the sails and the proverbial winds of Google have thrust us onto page 1 already.

Funny enough, I actually thought this was going to be a much harder set of SERPs to compete in.

But I’m adding it to my list.

Title: Best eCommerce SEO Niches for Dropshipping

A simple Google Doc that up until a week or so ago, I’d kept entirely to myself.

I gave it out to my course community last week.

This list contains 6 niches.

If I were to start an SEO-driven eCom brand today, I’d focus on one of those 6 niches.

Between prospects, consulting clients, coaching students, and agency clients, I’ve evaluated probably well over 150 niches.

Of those 150, these 6 are the Blue Oceans of eCommerce SEO.

Find out for yourself here.
