I’m hiring a Junior SEO for my agency.
This is going to be a pivotal role in our agency as we continue to grow, and compensation will include an hourly rate plus revenue sharing.
Before you read any further, I’m only hiring one individual and they must be based in one of the following locations: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
Here are the details:
Position: Junior SEO
Reports to: CEO & Head of Content
Job Overview: As our Junior SEO, you’ll primarily aid in our link building and content production processes. We are a fast-growing SEO agency for 7, 8, and 9-figure Shopify brands – as we continue to grow, your role and compensation will as well. Our team is fully remote and based all around the world, working with brands in sectors like beauty, shapewear, skincare, consumer tech, outdoor adventure gear, consumable goods, and many more.
We’re looking for a driven individual with a balanced skill set to improve our content production and operational efficiency. The right person will receive revenue sharing in the agency.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Execute first round of edits on new blog content for a portion of our clients, then deliver those edits to Head of Content for review
Update old, outdated, and/or underperforming blog, product, and category page content
Evaluate link building opportunities for clients
Publish blog content for clients to Shopify
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2+ years of copywriting experience (direct response, blog writing, ad headlines/scripts, journalism, newsletters, etc.) You must be able to provide writing samples.
1-2+ years of eCommerce experience preferred
Previous freelance or entrepreneurial experience is preferred
Previously agency experience is preferred
Work Environment
Fully remote
No rigid work hours, outside of meetings
Unlimited time off
US, CA, UK, AUS, NZ, and IRL hires only
Salary & Compensation:
20-30 hours/week initially, scaling upwards into a full-time role
$20-$30/hour + 2.5% revenue sharing on all new business
This is a 1099/contractor position, there are no healthcare benefits, 401k, etc.
