I'm not supposed to share this
But f*ck it, this is my email list
I’m the lead SEO Coach at Daily Mentor.
It’s a community of 150+ eCom brands around the world, all doing at least $1m/year in revenue.
The top 10% of them are doing well over $20 million each year.
This week, there’s been a ton of chatter in the Slack community.
People are already plotting their Black Friday/Cyber Monday strategies.
They asked me to drop my 3 best BFCM SEO strategies.
So I opened up a Google doc and started spilling all my secret sauce.
Tip #1 — As early as August, build out two collections and name them this: “Black Friday {Your Product/Keyword} Deals” AND “Cyber Monday {Your Product/Keyword” Deals”
Make the URL the exact same… Ex: /collections/black-friday-keyword-deals
Make the meta title the exact same, plus the year… Ex: “2024 Black Friday {Your Product/Keyword} Deals | {Brand Name}”
If you add a banner image to the collection, label the image alt text “Black Friday {Your Product/Keyword} Deals”
Write a 100 word collection description, and the first sentence should read something like: “Shop our 2024 Black Friday {Your Product/Keyword} Deals, available now! {then elaborate on what the products are, any deal specifics, etc.}”
Repeat the same process for the Cyber Monday collection
Then, link to both of these collections from your 1) homepage, 2) your top ranking collections (in the collection description is fine, something like “Shop our 2024 Black Friday Deals” appended to the end of the current description), and 3) also link from your 3-5 top performing blog posts
After the holidays end, remove links from home page, other collections, and blogs, BUT DO NOT delete the BFCM collections. Wait till next August, then update 2024 to 2025 on all elements, and you’ll be good to go! Also, don’t add the year to the URL as it’ll be an evergreen page.
Tip #2 — Reach out to popular blogs in your niche, and ask them to be included in their holiday roundup – you’ll need to pay a small fee of $100-$300 on average, but it will be worth it.
Before I get to Tip #3, let me show you just how well the first two tips work.
$37k of organic search revenue in just 7 days, spanning from the 11/20/23 to 11/27/23

That’s over $5k in revenue per day, just with SEO.
They balled the fuck out on BFCM thanks to these tips.
Onto the last..
Tip #3 — I only shared this with the Daily Mentor community, and as of about an hour ago, I added it to my course — you can access that here.
If you implement these tips today, you’ll be ahead of the $10-20m/year brands in Daily Mentor on the SEO side of BFCM, the biggest period of the year in eCommerce.
Because I’m not sharing these with them until 8/26.
But if you do this today, you will put yourself in an excellent position to outrank them and all of your competitors, who will undoubtedly wait until November to build these pages.
For them, it’ll be too late.
You’ll be right on time.
Especially if you implement Tip #3.
