"Your VA builds better backlinks than him"
I have a friend that runs a link building agency, and last week we were catching up.
I ran him through the link building system we use at my agency — it’s a simple, 5 step system.
I trained one of my VAs on the system, and he now manages 80% of our link building.
The other 20% is me testing new links and reviewing the links that he’s chosen.
My friend and I share a mutual friend, another SEO.
His link building system, or lack-thereof, came up.
"Your VA builds better backlinks than him."
I laughed, but I wasn’t surprised.
Link building is tough.
And truth be told, it’s an operational pain in my ass.
It slows things down.
Most SEO agencies that I know just outsource their link building.
They sacrifice their client’s link quality for efficiency in their own business.
Unsurprisingly, those same agencies have a much higher churn rate than me.
They don’t get results, so clients leave. Then they have to find & sign new clients, and the process repeats itself.
Getting clients is hard — it’s much easier to produce really good results for the clients I currently have and retain them for years.
This 5-step link building system is one reason that our retention is so strong.
I taught my VA to do it in 30 minutes — you can learn it in this 16 minute video.
It covers:
the 5 step QA system I use to build backlinks at scale
which pages on your eCom store you should build links to
which anchors to use (for specific pages)
And most importantly, it answers one of the most hotly contested questions in all of SEO?
“Should you pay for backlinks?”
Give it a watch, drop a comment on it and let me know what you think.
Announcement on Friday.
See you then.
